A plastic kit of the modern Russian two-seat multirole fighter Su-30SM from the production of the manufacturer Zvezda. The model captures the characteristic shape of this machine of the Su-27 family with canards ahead of the main wings and a pair of engines with thrust vectoring. A rewarding project for admirers of contemporary combat aircraft and of the hardware of the Russian Aerospace Forces.
The Su-30SM is a two-seat multirole fighter derived from the proven Su-27 Flanker family. It is powered by two AL-31FP engines with thrust vectoring, which together with the aerodynamic canards give it exceptional agility. The machine serves with the Russian Aerospace Forces (VKS) and with naval aviation and is intended to carry out a wide spectrum of combat tasks.
Before gluing, check the fit of the fuselage halves and of the leading edges of the canards. Use thin modeling cement on the plastic and treat the surface with a base coat. The engine nozzles with thrust vectoring will come out well after being painted separately in metallic shades. For Russian schemes a combination of gray-blue camouflage tones laid down with an airbrush works well; bring the panel lines out with a fine wash. Prepare the cockpit and any pylons before closing the fuselage.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
