A detailed resin part that replaces the stores pylon of the base kit with a casting of more accurate shape. It is NOT an aircraft model but an accessory to the base kit of the Swedish SAAB J-21 fighter. The set sorts out the more accurate geometry of the pylon under the fuselage or the wing.
The SAAB J-21 was a Swedish fighter with the unusual layout of twin tail booms and a pusher propeller set behind the pilot. That made it one of the few production machines to make the transition from piston to jet power (the J-21R version). The exact shape of the pylon matters for the fidelity of the model.
Cut the part off the casting block, wash it free of mold release agent and glue it with cyanoacrylate. Check how it sits on the fuselage and sand the mating surfaces with respiratory protection. At the end, even the shade out with the surrounding surface.
The accessory is supplied unpainted and, as an aftermarket set, it calls for a more experienced hand. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
