This set from the Czech manufacturer Eduard, from its line of resin accessories, contains the propellers of the three-engine Italian Savoia-Marchetti SM.79 bomber in 1:48 scale. The castings include the propeller blades and the spinners and have a fine, sharp blade profile that is hard to achieve with injection-molded plastic.
The propellers are the visual dominant of any multi-engine aircraft. Resin castings have thin, sharp leading edges and an accurate blade shape, which gives an SM.79 model a clean and faithful look. The accessory is intended for a plastic kit of this bomber; it does not contain the model itself.
Carefully separate the parts from the casting blocks and clean the edges up. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). We recommend painting the propellers separately; metallic shades or dark blades stand out after a gloss base and a fine wash have been applied.
It is a detail accessory; paints, glue and the base kit are not included in the package.
