The Douglas SBD Dauntless was an American carrier-based dive bomber of the Second World War that made its name above all in the fighting in the Pacific. The SBD-5 version was among the most widely built and carried a more powerful engine. The exhaust pipes projected along the sides of the engine cowling.
Wash the mold release agent off the parts, cut off the casting blocks and clean them up. Bond them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Protect your airways while sanding. The exhausts come out well in metallic shades, with rust and soot.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
