Sea Fury FB.11 pitot tubes are resin pitot tubes in 1:48 scale from the Quickboost brand. They replace a coarser plastic part with a fine casting of the correct shape.

This is not a kit of an aircraft but replacement resin sensors of ram air pressure, that is pitot tubes, for a model of the Hawker Sea Fury FB.11 in 1:48 scale. This small part is usually cast too thick in plastic and with a blunt tip, because the mold will not allow a finer shape. The resin replacement is more delicate and more accurate in shape, and fitting it is a matter of a few minutes. Quickboost is the accessory range of the Czech maker Aires, aimed at exactly such quick improvements.
The Hawker Sea Fury was a British single-seat carrier fighter, among the last production combat machines with a piston engine. It was powered by the powerful Bristol Centaurus radial engine, and the FB.11 version was the fighter and ground-attack variant for British naval aviation. Machines of this type also saw use in the Korean conflict and later served in several other countries. Thanks to its massive engine and clean lines the Sea Fury is a rewarding subject both for a build in military colors and for the later civilian racing conversions.
Cut the original plastic part off and carefully true the surface up. Wash the resin casting in warm soapy water and cut the casting block off with a saw; with such a small part it pays to work over a tray so that it does not spring away from you. Glue with a gel cyanoacrylate glue and watch the seating angle, because a tube fitted crooked shows immediately on a finished model. The part is better glued on right at the very end of the build, after the camouflage and the varnish have gone on, otherwise it is easily broken off during handling.
These are accessory parts, not a model of an aircraft. The kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
