A resin detail set of the Quickboost brand with a radar cover for a model of the Westland Sea King AEW airborne early warning helicopter in 1:48 scale. The bulky casting has the faithful shape of the radar cover that is characteristic of this version. This is an accessory for a kit, not a helicopter model.
The Westland Sea King was a British multipurpose helicopter. The AEW version served for airborne early warning and carried a swing-down radar in a cover on the side of the fuselage. That cover is the most prominent recognition feature of the variant.
Wash the mold release agent off the part, cut off the casting block and seat it on the side of the fuselage. Bond it with cyanoacrylate glue, and fill and sand any transitions with respiratory protection.
The kit itself and the glue are not included in the package.
