A resin detail set, not an aircraft kit. Cast in finely detailed resin, it refines the landing gear bays of the British Sea Vixen FAW. 2 carrier fighter in 1:48 scale. It replaces the flat or simplified gear bays from the box with faithfully rendered structure, complete with ribs, piping and riveting. It is meant for more advanced modelers who want the greatest possible realism in open bays.
The landing gear bays show clearly on a model, and it is their depth and detail that decide the final impression. The casting captures the broken-up inner walls of the bays, which become a convincing focal point of the whole build once painted and lightly weathered. The set is designed as a direct replacement for the parts of a base kit in the matching scale.
