A set of color photo-etched metal parts in 1:48 scale from the Czech manufacturer Eduard. It is not a kit but a detail accessory – seat belts for the seats. The color printing is applied directly onto the etched parts, so they are immediately usable as an interior feature. Intended for models of Luftwaffe fighters of the Second World War period.
Seat belts are among the most prominent details of an open fighter cockpit. Faithful multi-part belts with stitching and fittings bring the pilot's seat to life and replace missing or simplified plastic renderings. The set contains several complete belt sets matching German fighters of the period.
The parts are separated with a sharp knife, bent carefully into a natural draping shape and glued with cyanoacrylate. The color printing can be complemented with fine shading or an evening coat of varnish. The belts look best when they hang freely over the edge of the seat.
The accessory is supplied as a separate photo-etched set. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
