The real subject

The Kamov Ka-50 is a Russian single-seat attack helicopter with a distinctive coaxial twin-rotor layout and an ejection seat for the pilot. Its semi-rigidly mounted 30 mm 2A42 cannon sits close to the center of gravity, which improves accuracy of fire at medium range. The same cannon is carried by a number of other Russian combat vehicles and helicopters.

Tips for working with resin

First wash the parts in lukewarm soapy water and rid them of mold release residue. Cut the casting blocks off carefully with a saw and level the surfaces; wear a respirator when sanding resin, as the dust is harmful to health. It is glued with cyanoacrylate glue, not with ordinary cement for plastic. Apply a primer before painting.
