It is not an aircraft model but an accessory, namely faithfully cast SJU-17 ejection seats used by the American carrier aircraft F/A-18E/F Super Hornet and F-14D Tomcat. The set replaces the simplified plastic seats in a base kit of one of these machines.
The SJU-17 (also known as the Martin-Baker Mk.14 NACES) is a modern American carrier ejection seat with electronic control, introduced from the turn of the 1980s and 1990s. The seats are clearly visible in an open cockpit, so resin castings with a faithful frame, padding and harness raise the realism of the cockpit far more than bare plastic parts do. The set usually contains more than one seat.
Before gluing, wash the parts free of mold release agent, cut the casting blocks off carefully and sand the surfaces; protect your airways when sanding resin. Glue the resin with cyanoacrylate. Pick the harness and the handles out with paint and a fine wash. Try the fit in the cockpit dry. Paints and glue are not included in the package.
This is a resin detail set for more experienced modelers, not a complete model. A matching base kit is needed to use it; paints, glue and other accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
