Eduard 1:48 Sopwith Camel - Vickers Mk.I gun is a Brassin resin set with photo-etched details for plastic models of the Sopwith Camel in 1:48 scale.

This is not an aircraft model but a detail accessory from the Brassin range of the Czech manufacturer Eduard. The set in 1:48 scale replaces the onboard armament, two Vickers Mk.I machine guns, on plastic models of the Sopwith Camel and combines cast resin parts with fine photo-etched metal.
The resin barrels and gun bodies together with the photo-etched pieces offer a markedly finer rendering than the plastic parts from the kit and they are designed for easy assembly. Ideal for bringing out the well visible armament in front of the cockpit.
Wash the mold release agent off the resin parts and separate them from the casting blocks. Bend the photo-etched pieces over the edge of a metal ruler and join them with super glue. Lay down a primer before painting; the cooling jackets of the barrels come out well in a dark shade with light drybrushing.
This is an accessory, not a complete model. Paints, glue and the base kit are not included in the package.
