Responsibility details are not available.
This set contains pre-colored photo-etched seat belts in steel for models of the Supermarine Spitfire F. Mk.22 and Mk.24 in 1:48 scale. It is not a model or a kit but a detail accessory for the cockpit. The steel base is easy to shape and holds a realistic sag over the seat, which lifts the look of the cockpit markedly.
The Spitfire F. Mk.22 and Mk.24 were the last production versions of the legendary British fighter. They were powered by the powerful Rolls-Royce Griffon engine and had a bubble canopy and modified tail surfaces. They entered service at the very end of the Second World War and in the first postwar years. The cockpit was fitted with the system of straps typical of British fighters, whose appearance this set reproduces.
The parts are printed in color, so there is no need to paint them. Separate them from the fret carefully, remove the connecting tabs and glue them with super glue. The steel can be bent into a natural shape with tweezers or with your fingers; the small metal highlights and the patina of the buckle can be fine-tuned with suitable paints.
The accessory does not contain the model, glue or paints. It serves solely to detail the cockpit.
