The complex set Eduard Big Sin 1:48 Spitfire Mk. IX ADVANCED brings resin and photo-etched accessories together for the British fighter. It is a premium accessory for a kit, not a model.
Responsibility details are not available.
The set of the Big Sin line from the manufacturer Eduard is a combined package of the Brassin accessories for a model of the Supermarine Spitfire Mk. IX fighter in 1:48 scale. The designation ADVANCED suggests a more extensive package aimed at the main structural details. The set as a rule combines a resin engine, the gun bay in the wing, the radio compartment and photo-etched flaps. It is not a model of an airplane but a complex accessory for the matching kit.
The Supermarine Spitfire Mk. IX was one of the most successful versions of the legendary British fighter of the Second World War. It was powered by the powerful supercharged Rolls-Royce Merlin 60 engine, thanks to which the Mk. IX matched the performance of the German opponents of the time. It served with the RAF and with Allied air forces from 1942.
Wash the resin parts clean of the mold release agent, cut the casting blocks off and glue them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Bend the photo-etched flaps in a bending tool. Paint and weather the opened-up engine and the gun bay before assembly.
This is a premium supplementary set, not a model. The kit, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
