Spitfire Mk.I/Mk.V de Havilland propeller is a resin propeller with an assembly jig in 1:48 scale from the maker Quickboost. It is a detail accessory, not a model, and it is supplied unassembled and unpainted.
Responsibility details are not available.
This resin set holds a de Havilland type propeller for the Supermarine Spitfire subject in the Mk.I and Mk.V versions, rounded out with an assembly and painting jig. The jig makes it easier to glue the blades accurately at the correct angle and to paint them comfortably. It is not a model of the airplane but a detail accessory with fine modeling of the blades as well as the hub.
The Supermarine Spitfire was a British fighter powered by a Rolls-Royce Merlin engine. The early Mk.I and the later Mk.V versions used various types of propeller, among them de Havilland designs. The propeller strongly affects the overall look of the forward part of the aircraft.
Wash the parts free of mold release residue first, cut off the casting blocks and clean them up. Seat the blades in the enclosed jig and bond them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). The blades tended to be black with colored tips, and the hub in a shade according to the scheme you choose.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
