Eduard SPITFIRE STORY: MALTA DUAL COMBO 1:48 is a limited edition plastic kit with two models of the Spitfire fighters that defended Malta.
Responsibility details are not available.
This limited edition plastic kit from the manufacturer Eduard, in the Dual Combo version, contains parts for building two Supermarine Spitfire fighters of the Mk.V versions, as they defended the island of Malta. The package is richly equipped with photo-etched parts, painting masks and an extensive decal sheet with a great many marking options for British machines.
In the Second World War Malta was of key strategic importance in the Mediterranean and became the target of a concentrated air offensive. Supermarine Spitfire fighters were committed to its defense and fought fierce battles for air superiority over the island. It was exactly the Mk.V version that was among the typical machines of this theater.
The Dual Combo makes it possible to build two aircraft, so plan the painting according to the options you choose. Glue the plastic with thin cement and the photo-etched parts with super glue. The masks supplied make a clean job of the canopy framing easier. Apply the British camouflage schemes with an airbrush, area by area.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
