1:48 Photo-etched strips with nuts 0.6 to 1.1 mm are a universal modeling material, not a kit: a sheet 100x50 mm overall with strips carrying etched nut detail for imitating bolted joints.
Responsibility details are not available.
A material for free use, not a set for a particular kit. On a sheet 100x50 mm overall there are strips etched in widths from 0.6 to 1.1 mm, and along their length a row of nuts is etched. You cut off as many nuts as you need and deal with the strip and the bolted joint in one operation.
Bolted and riveted joints are everywhere on real vehicles: flanges, flange covers, feet, hinges, fender mountings, hatch frames, the joints of superstructure plates. On a model a mold either does not capture them at all, or you sand them away while cleaning up seams and joints. A strip with nuts is the quickest way of restoring such a detail, because the spacing of the nuts is etched evenly and you do not have to glue them on one by one.
Before gluing, sand the base down and mark lightly in pencil the line the strip will follow - a crooked row of nuts draws more attention than a missing detail. Cut with a scalpel on a hard surface and always between the nuts, not through them. Glue with super glue in short sections. In painting, the nuts stand out when you apply a dark wash after the base color, let it run around the heads and, once dry, go over the surface with a dry brush in a lighter shade - it is the shadows and the highlights that turn a relief into legible detail.
This is an accessory material, not a kit. The model, glue, paints and tools are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
