A color photo-etch set from the Czech manufacturer Eduard meant for detailing the interior of the Su-22M-4 fighter-bomber in 1:48 scale. It is not an aircraft model but a set of fine etched metal parts that replace the simplified plastic components of the kit - the instrument panel, the cockpit side consoles and the seat harness. The instrument faces are printed in color, so once glued down they look convincing without laborious painting.
The Su-22M-4 is the export version of the Soviet Sukhoi fighter-bomber with a variable-geometry wing, known in the West as the Fitter. It was used for strikes against ground targets and was widespread with the air forces of the Warsaw Pact states and beyond.
Separate the parts carefully from the etched fret with a sharp knife on a hard surface, form the bends with a bending tool or a metal ruler and bond them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Do not varnish over the printed color faces. Working with such fine parts belongs in the hands of a more advanced modeler.
This is an accessory photo-etched set, not an aircraft model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
