Responsibility details are not available.
This die-cut self-adhesive Eduard masking set in 1:48 scale is meant for a plastic model of the Soviet Sukhoi Su-25K ground-attack aircraft, to which NATO gave the reporting name Frogfoot. It is not a kit or a model in its own right but a set of precisely shaped masks in thin yellow masking tape (kabuki). The masks will be appreciated by modelers who want sharp color transitions on the glazing, the wheels and the camouflage fields without slow hand-cutting of tape.
The Sukhoi Su-25 Frogfoot is a Soviet single-seat subsonic ground-attack aircraft for direct fire support of ground units. It is ruggedly built, with an armored cockpit and the ability to carry a heavy load of bombs and rockets on a number of pylons. The K version was the export form delivered to foreign users.
Degrease the canopy glazing and let it dry. Lift the masks off the backing and lay them on the frame of the windscreen and on the hinged section, pressing them into the edges. Spray the paint with an airbrush in thin layers. The wheel masks separate the tire from the rim. Once the paint has dried, peel the masks off carefully at an acute angle so as not to disturb the fresh layer.
The package contains masks only. The model, paints, glue and decals are not included, unless stated otherwise.
