A colored photo-etched instrument panel for the British twin-engine Bristol Beaufighter Mk.I heavy fighter in 1:72 scale. It is a finished cockpit accessory, not an aircraft kit. Thin etched metal with pre-printed colored dials replaces the panel from the kit and, even in a small scale, gives the pilot's compartment a faithful and readable look without hand painting.
The Bristol Beaufighter was a British twin-engine heavy and night fighter of the Second World War. It stood out for a heavy armament of cannons and machine guns and for a rugged structure. It proved itself as a night fighter, as a strike aircraft against ground targets and as a torpedo bomber over the sea.
Break the panel out of the fret, remove the original instrument panel of the kit and seat the new one in its place. It holds best with a drop of cyanoacrylate glue or a glue for photo-etch. The part is tiny in this scale, so work with fine tweezers and try it for fit before fixing it.
This is a detail accessory for a cockpit, not a kit. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
