A resin accessory from the Quickboost (Aires) brand in 1:48 scale holding the flaperons for the Su-27 (Flanker B) fighter aircraft. It is not a model of the airplane but a small replacement set that takes the place of the plastic surfaces of the control flaps with precisely cast parts of faithful texture. Flaperons join the function of flaps and ailerons, and they can be shown deflected.
The Sukhoi Su-27 (NATO reporting name Flanker) is a twin-engine fighter with large wing-to-fuselage transitions and marked aerodynamics. The Flanker B version is the basic single-seat form. The flaperons on the trailing edge of the wing are moving surfaces, and deflecting them brings a standing model to life.
Separate the parts carefully from the casting block, wash them free of mold release residue and glue them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Check the fit of the parts against the wing before gluing and sand them down lightly if need be; protect your airways while sanding.
The model of the airplane itself is not included in the package. It is supplied unassembled and unpainted; glue, paints and the base kit are not included.
