A decal sheet in 1:48 scale for the Russian Su-27 fighter with fuselage number 08 and a shark motif. The extent of the markings is described in the instructions supplied with the sheet.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Su-27 is a Soviet and later Russian heavy fighter with two turbofan engines, twin vertical tails and a smooth blending of the wing into the fuselage, thanks to which the whole airframe carries part of the lift. For a modeler it is a big piece: in 1:48 scale it comes out over forty-five centimeters long with a span of around thirty. On an area like that every marking is clearly visible, which is why it pays to give the markings the same care as the paintwork.
The sheet is intended for the Russian Su-27 with fuselage number 08 and a shark motif. It is a separate accessory that assumes a model whose paintwork is already finished and dry. How many options the sheet offers, how the markings are laid out and which kit they are cut for is described in the instructions supplied with the sheet; follow those for the application itself as well.
Prepare the base smooth and glossy; on flat paint, air stays under the item and the edge goes white. Cut the item out close to the printing, soak it for a few seconds and let it stand until it begins to move on the paper. Then slide it into place, draw the water off and press the excess out with a soft cloth from the center to the edges. Over engraving and rivets a decal softener helps: the print softens and is drawn into the relief. Once it has dried, varnish the area over so that the edge of the carrier film disappears. Store an unused sheet dry and in the dark.
The decal sheet is supplied on its own. The kit, paints, varnish and decal softener are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
