Responsibility details are not available.
This is not an aircraft kit, but an accessory set of metal parts. It includes turned Pitot tubes and 30 mm cannon barrels for the Su-7 model in the Fitter-A version, in 1:48 scale. The advantage of the combined package is that one purchase covers both groups of parts, which are the hardest to mold and easiest to break on the model.
The Su-7 is a single-engine jet aircraft with a swept wing, developed in the 1950s and used mainly in a strike role. The version designated Fitter-A was a fighter variant of this family. On this aircraft, the 30 mm cannons were built into the wing roots, so their muzzles protrude from the leading edge and are clearly visible. In injection-molded plastic, these are solid cylinders that must be drilled out; turned metal comes with the bore already made and holds the correct spacing and alignment with the wing.
Sand the plastic cannon muzzles flush with the leading edge and drill the holes with a hand drill so you don't damage the surrounding surface. Dry-fit the metal parts, align them to one plane, and only then glue with cyanoacrylate. Fit the Pitot tubes only at the end of the build. Degrease the metal with alcohol and apply a primer for metal; the barrels look best after bluing, while the probes tolerate ordinary paint if it holds on the primer. When cleaning the finished model, avoid these parts and never use them as a handle.
The accessory is supplied unpainted. The base kit, glue, and paints are not included in the package.
