Detailed air intakes (engine intake ducts) made by direct 3D printing from resin by the manufacturer Reskit, intended for models of the Su-27, Su-27UB, Su-30 and Su-35 family of heavy fighters in 1:48 scale. It is a resin accessory for more experienced modelers, not a standalone aircraft model. The set replaces the simplified plastic intakes from the box with faithfully shaped parts.
The set deals with the leading sections and the inner walls of the air intakes under the fuselage, which on the heavy Sukhois are a prominent visible feature. Well rendered ducts with protective screens give the model a depth that injection-molded plastic usually cannot manage. Judge the exact number of parts by the packaging.
Wash the parts to remove residues of print resin, cut them off the print supports and sand the faces down with respiratory protection. Bond with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Spray the inside of the intakes in a light color before the fuselage is closed up.
This is a resin accessory. The base aircraft model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
