A resin detail set from the Czech manufacturer Eduard. It is not an aircraft model but a separate ejection seat for models of the Soviet Su-7 fighter-bomber in 1:48 scale, completed with a pre-painted photo-etched seat harness.
The cockpit of the Su-7 is clearly visible with the canopy open, which is why the seat has a marked effect on the overall impression of the model. The resin version captures the faithful shape of the shell, the handles and the small details that the plastic seat from the box does not carry. The pre-painted photo-etched harness gives the cockpit a realistic depth.
Wash the parts free of mold release agent, cut off the casting blocks and sand them down. Protect your airways when sanding resin. They are bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Paint the shell according to period references, settle the harness naturally over the cushion and the backrest and pick the edges out gently with a dry brush.
This is an accessory, not a complete kit. It calls for a matching base model, which is not included in the package. Glue and paints are not enclosed.
