An injection-molded plastic kit of the Soviet single-seat attack aircraft in 1:48 scale from Smer. The model captures a rugged machine for direct support of ground units with a number of hardpoints for stores. It is a kit of classic design; the manufacturer states marking options in the box.
The Sukhoi Su-25 (NATO designation Frogfoot) is a Soviet attack aircraft built to give direct support to ground troops and to destroy armored vehicles. It is ruggedly built, with an armored cockpit and the ability to carry a large load of unguided as well as guided stores on ten hardpoints. The Su-25K was the export version. The machine proved itself in the conflict in Afghanistan and still serves with a number of air forces today.
Use liquid cement for plastic and reckon with the fact that a kit of this kind usually needs the parts cleaned up and test fitted more carefully. Finish and paint the cockpit before closing up the fuselage, and mask the canopy. Lay a primer before painting; good acrylic or enamel paints suit Soviet tactical schemes. Choose the stores according to the scheme you pick.
