The set contains fine landing gear parts for models of the British Supermarine Attacker FB.2 carrier-based jet fighter in 1:48 scale. It is an accessory, not a stand-alone kit.
The Supermarine Attacker was one of the first jet fighters of the Royal Navy. One point of interest was the tail wheel landing gear, which held the aircraft at a characteristic attitude on the ground. Faithfully rendered landing gear legs therefore make a strong impression on a model.
Wash the parts clean of any residue left from production, separate them from the carrier and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue. Bring out the metal surfaces with metallic paint once the base coat has been applied. Sand with breathing protection.
The set is an accessory, not a stand-alone model. It is supplied unassembled and unpainted; glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package.
