A resin set of replacement main landing gear wheels from RESArm, in the form with a four-spoke rim. It is not an aircraft model but an accessory for a model of the British Supermarine Spitfire fighter in 1:48 scale. The tires are cast with a flattening where they touch the ground, imitating the load of a machine standing still.
The Supermarine Spitfire is the legendary British fighter of the Second World War with its distinctive elliptical wing. During the war it went through a whole range of versions and various types of wheels and rims, among them the four-spoke form.
Wash the mold release agent off the wheels, separate the casting blocks and clean up the mating surface. It is bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Orient the flattening straight downwards. Before painting, check that the four-spoke rim matches your version of the Spitfire.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package.
