This is a photo-etched detail set from the Czech maker Hauler, not a kit. The set in thin sheet is meant for refining a model of the Soviet T-34-85 medium tank in 1:48 scale, for models of this type. It replaces thick injection-molded elements with fine photo-etched parts of a scale thickness. Dimensionally it follows the Tamiya kit.
The photo-etched parts typically refine the fenders, the covers and the grilles of the engine compartment, the small brackets, eyes, clamps and other fittings of the hull and the turret. The model thereby gains a fineness that thick plastic does not allow.
Separate the parts with a sharp knife on a hard surface and make the bends along the scored line (a photo-etch bender helps). Glue with super glue (cyanoacrylate); flat joints will take epoxy as well. On a tank, weathering helps a great deal: washes in the recesses and pigments for dust and mud.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The base Tamiya kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
