T-34/76, cooling grilles 1:48 is a photo-etched set from the Hauler brand for the rear of the engine compartment of the Soviet medium tank; it is an accessory, not a kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
A photo-etched set from the Czech maker Hauler intended to replace the grilles over the engine and cooling compartment of a model of the T-34/76 tank. It is cut for a particular kit, the Tamiya one. The model itself is not part of the package.
The T-34 was a Soviet medium tank of the Second World War with sloped armor, wide tracks and a V-2 diesel engine. The version designated 76 carried a gun of 76.2 mm caliber. Over the engine and the radiators there were louvers and grilles on the rear of the hull, which during the war went through several simplifications according to the possibilities of the individual plants.
Photo-etched sheet comes from manufacture with a thin film left after the etching bath and handling. Before you start gluing or painting anything, rinse the whole fret in alcohol and let it dry without wiping it with your fingers. Then apply a thin primer in two light passes of the airbrush. Without this step the paint will peel off the grille at the first touch of tweezers, and the repair then means taking the part apart.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
