This detailed 3D-printed resin set holds faithfully rendered engine exhaust nozzles for models of the supersonic Northrop T-38C Talon II trainer in 1:48 scale. They replace the simplified plastic parts and give the tail of the aircraft realistic depth. It is an accessory, not an aircraft model.
The Northrop T-38 Talon is a two-seat supersonic trainer on which pilots of a number of air arms are still trained today. The T-38C version went through an avionics upgrade. It was powered by two afterburning turbojet engines.
Wash the parts free of print resin residue, cut them away from the print supports and bond them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Bring out the inside of the nozzles with metallic shades and a dark wash. Sand the thin edges carefully and with respiratory protection.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the model are not included in the package.
