The most complete level of painting masks from New Ware in 1:48 scale. The kabuki masks of fine washi (rice paper) tape follow the shape of the part exactly, come off easily and leave no adhesive. The EXPERT level covers the inner and outer framing of the canopy glazing including masks for the sealant color and the inner masks, and further the wheels, the landing lights and other small areas that need to be separated by color. The NASA version matches the striking white-and-blue scheme of the agency. It is an accessory for painting, not an aircraft model.

The real subject

The Northrop T-38 Talon is a two-seat supersonic jet trainer. In the T-38C standard and in its white-and-blue scheme it has long been operated by NASA, where it serves to keep astronauts current in flying and as a chase aircraft. The slender airframe is among the most widely used jet trainers of its era.
