Quinta Studio 1:48 Ta 183 is a color 3D interior decal for refining the cockpit of a model of the German jet fighter project.
Responsibility details are not available.
A color 3D interior decal from Quinta Studio in 1:48 scale for models of the Ta 183 jet fighter. The raised, full-color details are printed from resin on backing decal paper and are transferred by the wet method. They are neither photo-etch nor resin castings.
The Focke-Wulf Ta 183 (nicknamed Huckebein) was a German jet fighter project of the end of the Second World War. It never reached production, but its aerodynamic solution with a swept wing and a high-set tail surface influenced the postwar development of jet aircraft. Models are therefore based on the project drawings and are often built in a what-if spirit.
Cut the part out of the sheet, leave it in lukewarm water for about fifteen seconds and slide it off the backing paper into place in the interior. It has no adhesive layer of its own; it holds on a gloss clear coat of the Future, Klear or Tamiya X-22 type, with which you coat the surfaces beforehand; on intricate places a drop of cyanoacrylate helps. Do not use a decal softener, it will attack the printed resin.
This is an accessory for a plastic model, not the model itself. The kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
