A resin detail set for a model of the Avenger torpedo aircraft in 1:48 scale. It shows the open compartment of the stowage box for the inflatable life raft, which was located in the fuselage ahead of the gun turret. The open box is clearly visible on a finished model and adds to its credibility. It is not an aircraft model but an accessory.
Wash the mold release agent off the resin parts, cut off the casting blocks and sand the surfaces with respiratory protection. It is bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Fitting calls for a small modification on the side of the kit so that the box seats correctly. The inside of the compartment stands out once washes have been applied and the edges lightly emphasized.
This is an accessory set, not a complete model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
