The set brings a faithfully rendered complete engine of the British Hawker Tempest Mk.V fighter in 1:48 scale. It is a demanding resin detail accessory complemented by photo-etch, which lets you show the aircraft with the engine cowlings open and reveal the massive Napier Sabre engine with its characteristic layout.
A richly detailed engine block, accessories and photo-etched details, which together create a convincing replica of the power unit. The set is intended for Tempest Mk.V models in this scale and represents one of the most demanding categories of accessory.
Wash the mold release agent off the resin parts and separate them from the casting blocks. Glue them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue), bend the photo-etch over an edge and sand with respiratory protection. Bring out the engine with washes and drybrushing so that its structure stands out.
This is an accessory, not a standalone model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
