Tiger I late series 1:48 is a photo-etched detail set from the Hauler brand for a model of the late production version of the heavy tank; it is an accessory, not a kit.

The set contains photo-etched parts for refining a model of the Tiger I in the late production form and is cut for a particular kit, the Skybow one. The manufacturer is the Czech firm Hauler. The model itself is not part of the package.
The late machines received a cast commander's cupola with vision blocks and a circular hatch, steel road wheels with internal springing and simplified fenders. A number of machines of this period also carried the anti-magnetic coating Zimmerit applied to the vertical surfaces of the armor.
If you are planning Zimmerit, apply it and let it cure before the photo-etched parts come up, as otherwise the texture around them will be smeared. Degrease the sheet with alcohol, bend the small parts with tweezers resting against the edge of a razor blade and glue with thin cyanoacrylate. Apply the primer in a thin coat, so that the molded details of the photo-etched parts are not lost, and when weathering at the end count on metal taking washes differently than plastic.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
