A color film set for the interior of a model of the Tornado ECR in the German form, 1:48 scale, in the smaller extent and with additional 3D-printed parts.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Panavia Tornado is a European twin-engine combat aircraft with a variable-sweep wing and with the crew seated one behind the other. The ECR version is aimed at electronic warfare and Germany operated it with its own cockpit equipment. The cockpit of a two-seat aircraft is clearly visible through the glazing, and without color instrument panels even an otherwise well built model looks empty.
Color film elements for the interior in 1:48 scale, that is the instrument panels, the side panels and other cockpit equipment with the coloring printed on. The set is listed as the smaller variant, so it covers a narrower extent than the full version. Besides the films it also contains additional parts made by 3D printing.
The film elements are printed on backing decal paper. Cut the element out, dip it in lukewarm water for about fifteen seconds and slide it off the paper into place; do not use a softener with them, though. The element has no adhesive layer of its own, so coat the surface with gloss clear coat in advance. On convex areas a blunt toothpick point and a drop of cyanoacrylate help. The printed parts are held on print supports: cut those off with a sharp blade a little way from the part, sand the remainder and wash and degrease them before painting. They are glued with cyanoacrylate; cement for plastic has no effect on them.
The model, paints and glue are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
