A resin detail accessory of the Quickboost brand; this is not a stand-alone airplane model. The set holds finely cast landing gear doors in 1:48 scale for building the Panavia Tornado IDS. The parts are thinner and more accurate than injection-molded plastic and refine the look of the landing gear bays.
The Panavia Tornado IDS is a two-seat twin-engine combat aircraft with a variable-geometry wing, developed in an international European program. The IDS version is intended for all-weather strike duties. The landing gear bays and doors are clearly visible on a model.
Wash the mold release agent off the parts, cut off the casting blocks and dry-fit them. They are bonded with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Use respiratory protection while sanding. The doors are painted to match the landing gear and the bays.
This is an accessory for a kit, not a complete model. The paints, the glue and the kit are not included in the package.
