Responsibility details are not available.
A set of resin wheels from Armory for the UH-60 Black Hawk utility helicopter in 1:48 scale. The tires are cast with weighted deformation - a slight flattening where they touch the ground - thanks to which the model stands naturally, like a real machine under its own weight. The castings offer finer drawing of the hubs and the sidewalls than split kit parts can manage, and fitting them is a simple piece-for-piece replacement.
The Sikorsky UH-60 Black Hawk is an American utility helicopter introduced in the early 1980s as a replacement for the UH-1 series. It serves to carry troops and materiel, for medical evacuation and for special operations, and it flies in dozens of countries. It uses a tailwheel landing gear layout: two main wheels at the front along the sides of the fuselage and a tail wheel under the tail boom. The low-set fuselage makes the wheels a clearly visible area of the model.
Wash the castings in warm soapy water to remove the mold release agent, cut off the casting blocks and sand the marks down with respiratory protection. Glue with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Paint the tires a very dark gray and the hubs according to the particular machine; a fine dusting with pigments will give the landing gear an in-service look.
This is a resin accessory - the helicopter kit itself is not included in the package.
