Seat belts IJA 1:48 — a pre-painted photo-etched set of seat belts from Eduard for models of aircraft of the Imperial Japanese Army Air Force.
Responsibility details are not available.
A photo-etched set of seat belts from Eduard in 1:48 scale, in a pre-painted color finish. The belts match the cockpit equipment of aircraft of the Imperial Japanese Army Air Force (IJA) of the Second World War. The set is ready to fit without having to paint the belts separately. This is not an airplane model but an accessory for the cockpit.
In the Second World War the Japanese Army Air Force operated its own fighters and bombers, different from the equipment of the Navy. The pilots seats carried fabric straps with metal buckles, and this set reproduces their look by printing.
The pre-painted belts are fitted onto the seat in the cockpit. Separate the parts with a sharp knife on a cutting mat and bond them with super glue; blend the color in gently only where needed. For a realistic look, bend the belts slightly.
This is an accessory photo-etched set, not a stand-alone model. It requires the matching base kit, which is not included in the package.
