A set of modern aircraft ordnance as used by the armed forces of the United States and NATO countries, in 1:48 scale. An accessory for a combat aircraft model.
Responsibility details are not available.
The set brings modern aircraft ordnance in 1:48 scale, as used by the armed forces of the United States and NATO countries. Underwing and underfuselage stores are one of the elements that change the overall impression of a combat aircraft model the most: what the aircraft carries under its wings and fuselage tells you what mission it was prepared for. Ordnance sets are therefore useful wherever a kit holds too little ordnance, or ordnance that does not match the machine you are building.
The exact breakdown of the contents, that is which stores the box holds and in what numbers, is given in the manufacturer's instructions. Use them to check which pylons and racks belong with the ordnance and whether you will need to add any from another source. Choose the combination of stores to suit the particular aircraft and the mission the model is meant to represent.
Cut the excess material away with a sharp blade a little away from the part and sand the remainder flush. Wash and degrease the parts before painting and apply a primer to even out the surface. Spray the color bands on bombs and rockets through a mask, or cover them with strips of tape; brushing them on by hand shows on parts this small. A suitable glue is given in the manufacturer's instructions.
The aircraft model, paints and glue are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
