Ventura Mk.II 1:48 - a photo-etched set from the Czech manufacturer Eduard for refining a model of the twin-engine Lockheed Ventura Mk.II.
Responsibility details are not available.
A photo-etched detail set from the manufacturer Eduard in 1:48 scale, intended for refining a plastic model of the twin-engine Lockheed Ventura Mk.II. The photo-etched parts raise the level of detail of the base kit; it is not an aircraft model but an accessory.
The Lockheed Ventura was an American twin-engine monoplane used during the Second World War as a bomber and as a patrol and maritime aircraft. The Mk.II version served with the Royal Air Force and with other Allied air forces. It was derived from a civil transport machine and was notable for its robust structure and its powerful radial engines.
Photo-etched parts suit the fine items that plastic cannot be shaped thinly enough to render. Separate the parts with a sharp knife on a backing, bend them in a bending tool and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue; apply any color areas to a degreased surface.
This is a supplementary photo-etched set, not a stand-alone model. It requires the corresponding base kit, which is not included in the package.
