1:48 Vickers Wellington in Polish service, part I is a decal set from the brand Model Maker with markings of the British twin-engined bomber operated by Polish crews.
Responsibility details are not available.
This decal sheet from the brand Model Maker in 1:48 scale brings the markings of Vickers Wellington aircraft in Polish service. According to the name it is the first part, followed by further parts of the series. The set is an accessory for a built model; it holds no plastic parts and no kit.
The Wellington was a British twin-engined bomber with its characteristic geodetic airframe structure, that is, a three-dimensional lattice framework covered in fabric. It was exactly that which gave it its reputation as a tough machine. Wellingtons served in the Royal Air Force in both the bomber and the coastal role, and Polish crews flew them as well.
First varnish the model with a gloss varnish, so the surface is smooth. Cut the decal out closely to the motif, soak it in lukewarm water and let it stand until it begins to release from the paper. Slide it onto the area with a brush, blot the surplus water away with a paper towel and use a softener over engraved lines and fabric surfaces. Once dry, overcoat with a matte or semi-matte varnish, so the edges of the carrier film disappear.
The package holds decals; it is not a kit. The model, the paints, the varnishes and the glue are not part of it.
