The set is NOT a model of an airplane, but a collection of accessories; this is a set of the series that follows on (number 3). The accessories replace or enrich the basic plastic parts and raise the fidelity of a model.
The S-3 Viking was an American carrier-based antisubmarine aircraft powered by a pair of jet engines. It served with the US Navy for patrolling, for fighting submarines and later for refueling in flight and for reconnaissance as well. It stood out for its long endurance and its ability to operate from aircraft carriers.
Wash the mold release agent off the resin parts, cut off the casting blocks and clean the surfaces up with protection of the airways. It is bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Check the fit with the model before gluing. For livening up a naval coat, fine accentuation of the panel lines and discreet weathering are fitting.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The model of the airplane itself, the glue and the paints are not included in the package.
