An accessory set for the tail section of Westland Lynx AH Mk.7 models in 1:48 scale. Intended for a kit; the model itself is not included.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Westland Lynx is a twin-engine helicopter of British origin that made its name above all for agility; in the army version it stands on skids and serves for transport, reconnaissance and the support of ground units. The AH Mk.7 version differs from the older army machines in, among other things, the arrangement of the tail rotor, which is the most visible change on the tail boom when you build the model.
The set is aimed at the tail section of the model in 1:48 scale and suits the case where you want to build precisely the AH Mk.7 version from the kit. The range of parts, where they go and the kit they are shaped for is given in the manufacturer's instructions. The parts are not polystyrene, so they do not react to ordinary cement for plastic kits; make the joints with super glue.
Cut the excess material away with a sharp blade a little way from the part and sand off the rest with fine paper. Wash the parts in lukewarm soapy water before painting and let them dry. When you replace part of the tail boom, watch the alignment: dry-fit the part, look at the model from behind and from above, and only then glue it. A boom set on crooked shows from every side on the finished model.
For modelers who build the British army Lynx and want the tail section to match the version in question. Expect cutting, sanding and fine-tuning of the joint. The kit, paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
