A resin set of twin Browning machine guns for Westland Lysander models in 1:48 scale from the manufacturer Eduard. A faithful rendering of the rear defensive armament.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is not an aircraft kit but a detail accessory. The set contains cast resin parts of a pair of Browning machine guns meant for models of the British Westland Lysander liaison and observation aircraft in 1:48 scale. It replaces the simplified weapons from the box with a more faithful rendering. The manufacturer is the Czech brand Eduard.
Defensive armament is clearly visible when the rear position is open, and coarser plastic parts usually fail to capture it. The resin castings bring fine detail to the weapons that lifts the realism of the whole area and rightly draws the eye.
Wash the parts in water with detergent, carefully cut off the small casting blocks and clean the surfaces up with respiratory protection. They are glued with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Paint over a primer in metal shades and bring the pressings out with a fine wash; because the parts are tiny, work over a mat and with tweezers.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package.
