Westland Wyvern S.4 1:48 - an interior photo-etched set from Eduard for a detailed cockpit. It is not a model of the aircraft but an accessory for a kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
An interior photo-etched set from the Czech manufacturer Eduard for the model of the British Westland Wyvern S.4 carrier strike aircraft in 1:48 scale. The set adds fine photo-etched parts to the cockpit and the interior, which replace simplified plastic parts and raise the fidelity of the finished model. It is not a model of the aircraft but a detail accessory for a matching kit.
The Westland Wyvern S.4 was a British single-seat carrier strike aircraft of the 1950s, powered by a turboprop engine with prominent contra-rotating propellers. It served with the Fleet Air Arm and saw combat during the Suez crisis in 1956. It was the only turboprop machine of its class to see combat from British aircraft carriers.
First separate the photo-etched parts from the fret with a sharp knife on a surface and clean them up gently. Make the bends over a bending tool or a metal ruler so that the edges stay sharp. Bond the parts with super glue (cyanoacrylate); liquid cement meant for plastic will not hold them. Before fitting them into the cockpit we recommend painting the parts and weathering them lightly. This is work for more advanced modelers used to fine photo-etched components.
This is not a model of the aircraft but a photo-etched detail set for a matching kit in that scale. It is supplied unassembled and unpainted; glue, paints and the kit itself are not included in the package.
