About product

Ammunition belt 7.92x57 in 1:72 scale (3DF)

This is an aftermarket detail accessory, not a kit. The set contains a 3D-printed resin ammunition belt in 7.92x57 mm (Mauser) caliber in the small 1:72 scale, intended for superdetailing machine guns. This caliber was used on German machine guns of the Second World War, both in aircraft and on vehicles.

Material and working

The part is printed from modeling resin at high resolution and captures the rounds and the links of the belt even in a small scale. Handling it calls for a delicate touch.

Usage tips

  • Separate the part from the supports under a magnifier and clean it up very gently.
  • Wash and degrease it before gluing.
  • Bond with super glue (cyanoacrylate).
  • Paint with a brass shade on the rounds and a dark wash.

Who it is for

  • Builders of aircraft models of German equipment in 1:72.
  • Experienced modelers focused on fine detail.
  • Diorama builders and collectors.

The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted, as a resin part. Glue and paints are not included in the package.
