This item is not an airplane but a small resin replacement for the exhaust stacks, intended for models of the P-51 fighter in the B, C and D versions. The particular kit the part is cut for is given in the name of the item, so before buying, compare it against the model you are preparing.
The exhaust stacks of the Mustang are very conspicuous on the fuselage and in ordinary plastic they tend to be molded closed. A cast replacement can suggest the opening and sharper outlines, which when viewed from close up is one of the most noticeable differences. At the same time it is an intervention you will manage quickly and without much cutting into the model, so it also suits as a first step toward detailing.
First wash the parts in lukewarm water with detergent, so that the remains of the mold release agent disappear from the surface. Cut the casting block off with a fine-toothed saw, not with cutters, because the material is brittle. Level the surface where the part is to go and attach it with super glue. Do the sanding wet and with protection of your airways. Darken the inside of the stacks before installation; once they are glued on, a brush will not reach in there.
It is not a separate model of the aircraft but an additional set for a basic kit, which has to be bought separately.
