The Grumman A-6 was a subsonic carrier attack aircraft capable of precise strikes in any weather. The crew consisted of two men sitting side by side, which gave the machine its characteristically wide, bulbous nose. The A-6E version brought a more modern radar and a fire control system. Aircraft of this type saw action over Vietnam and in the later conflicts in the Persian Gulf.
A smaller scale forgives less, so degrease the surface beforehand and lay the shapes with tweezers rather than with your fingers. Lower the air pressure and apply the paint lightly; a heavy deposit could run under the thin edge. Once the mask is off, the edge can be brought out with a heavily thinned dark shade, which makes the division of the cockpit stand out and the whole build look sharper. Always try the shade on a piece of scrap plastic before spraying.
