Responsibility details are not available.
This is a single unassembled and unpainted figure in 1:35 scale from the French manufacturer BlackSnake. The figure is cast in good quality resin with a finely worked uniform, equipment and facial features. It is not a vehicle or aircraft kit but an accessory intended to bring an armor or infantry diorama to life and to place the equipment in a story.
The figure derives from a member of the American 101st Airborne Division of the Second World War period. These units became famous above all in Normandy, in Operation Market Garden and in the defense of Bastogne during the Ardennes Offensive. The paratroopers wore the characteristic jump jacket, a helmet with a camouflage net and plenty of field equipment, which makes the figure a rewarding subject for dioramas of the Western Front of 1944 and 1945.
First wash the mold release agent off the parts, cut the casting blocks off carefully and sand the excess down with respiratory protection. Bond the resin with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Lay down a thin primer before painting; acrylic paints suit the toning of the skin and the fabrics, and final shading with oil paints or a wash will give the uniform depth.
The figure is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
